Teddi Mellencamp is showing off her hair regrowth amid her battle with stage IV cancer.

In a video shared via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, August 26, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum filmed herself whipping off her wig and showing her real, shorter hair for the camera.

On Thursday, August 27, Teddi showed her followers a closer look at her hair regrowth, sharing a video of herself sporting a short, cropped blonde haircut.

“Whenever I do a lot of posts and I’m in full glam, then I feel the need to, like, be honest and show you guys the reality of the situation now I’m done working,” she said in the video. “This is what we got going on.”

Teddi, 45, was diagnosed with stage II melanoma in 2022. The cancer later metastasized to her brain and lungs by 2025.

“I’m fighting for my life, but also for my family’s life and all the people I love,” she exclusively told Us in April 2025. “I’m listening to my body, but also staying active and doing things that I love because when I do too much laying [around], I get pretty sad. On the days I’m feeling low, I can get really emotional, and if I’m open with the people in my life, then I have an easier time resting. When I try to pretend I’m OK and resting, it’s hard for me.”

In October 2025, the Bravolebrity revealed that her most recent scans showed “no detectable cancer” but that she was still continuing “immunotherapy for now.”

“I’m not considered in remission or anything like that,” Teddi explained. “I’m still going to be having days when I’m feeling sick and stuff because I still am in immunotherapy, so I’m still fighting because you have to be.”

She added, “The way the [doctors] said it works, it’s like one year, then two years, then at three years you’re allowed to be considered… in remission.”

Last month, Teddi celebrated a major milestone as she turned 45. The reality star marked the occasion by thanking the medical team who have been treating her for cancer.

“Happy Birthday to me! I made it until 45 but not without the help of my friends, family, surgeons, doctors, nurses and all the support from you here,” she wrote in a July 1 Instagram post. “I apologize in advance to anyone who texts, calls or messages that I don’t respond to. I am so grateful to all of you and dare I say, praying this is best year yet. (Yes, this was me not Slate).”
