While the status of Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson‘s contoversial relationship remains unclear, the Bachelor did manage to choose a stunning sparker for his bride-to-be on Monday’s finale.
The San Francisco winemaker, 29, gave the Los Angeles model, 28, a 3-carat cushion-cut custom Neil Lane ring. A source tells Us Weekly that the rock is with close to $85,000.
For Flajnik’s second televised proposal (he was rejected by Bachelorette Ashley Hebert last season), he went with a platinum setting, which features an intricate leaf- and floral-inspired design.
“I have waited a really long time to tell you that I am in love with you more than you will ever know and this whole experience and journey has been worth it every step of the way,” Flajnik said as an ecstatic Robertson, who was clad in a black Alberto Makali design with elbow-length leather gloves, accepted his proposal.
