Pawsitively purrfect. Thank to The Cut’s “100 Years of Beauty” video series, we’ve learned about so many of the last century’s beauty trends from countries around the world, including the U.S., Kenya, Syria, Ireland and Japan. There have even been videos devoted to the male beauty trends. But you know what we’ve yet to see? A video devoted to kitten beauty.

Well, wait no more. Inspired by the series (and the many like it focused on fashion, technology and more), Mashable made a tongue-in-cheek video chronicling 100 years of feline adorableness. It stars an orange tabby named Chili, who’s from the ASPCA and boasts the fluffiest little white chest.

The video goes decade by decade, and as every new one rolls around, hands appear to fluff and smooth Chili, and that’s it. Because, of course, kitten beauty hasn’t changed much in 100 years.
