The force is strong with him! Zayn Malik already boasts a whole sleeve of awesome tattoos (and then some!). But his latest ink might just be his coolest yet: a lightsaber that actually glows.
The “Pillowtalk” singer, 23, went to NYC-based (and celeb-adored) tattoo artist Jon Boy to get his latest body art. (Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin and Chloë Grace Moretz are just a few of his clients.) The Star Wars–themed tat sits on the inside of Malik’s middle finger and, yes, it turns blue under UV lighting.

Jon Boy shared side-by-side snaps of the former One Direction band member’s finger in and out of the light via Instagram on July 14, and fittingly captioned the shot with the series’ most famous line: “May the force be with you @zayn #uvink #starwars #jonboytattoo.”
The tattoo artist then shared a second snap with Malik’s squad, including stylist Luka Sabbat and Anwar Hadid, the brother of his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. (Gigi, Anwar and their sister, Bella, are all models.)

Malik’s latest tattoo is just one of dozens. He also has a checkerboard, a skull with a top hat, a tiger, a kiss mark and, across his chest, a pair of angel wings.
Later that night, Malik enjoyed a dinner date night with Gigi, his love of seven months. The pair wore complementary bomber jackets and jeans while strolling through Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood.
