Although Olivia Wilde stepped out in an elaborate Grecian-style Marchesa gown at the Butter premiere in Toronto on Tuesday night, her hairstyle was simple and chic.

Hair pro Couture Colour Brand Ambassador David Babaii styled the actress' knot-inspired bun while making sure her 'do channeled red-carpet glamour as opposed to Saturday-morning errands. Here, he gives Us Weekly the full run-down on how to recreate her swept-back style.

To start, Babaii applied Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment ($32, to Wilde's wet hair to protected it from the hot tools while making it easy to manage and giving the hair a natural luster and shine.
