Adele: "I Puke Quite a Lot Before Going on Stage"
Adele's second album 21 is set to become of the bestselling and most acclaimed of this year, and she's moved audiences to tears with soul-searing renditions of songs like "Someone Like You," but the British soul superstar still battles major stage fright.
"I puke quite a lot before going on stage," Adele, 22, tells British Vogue in its October issue -- gracing its cover with a stunning closeup shot. "Though never actually on stage," the Grammy winner clarifies. But the pre-show puke guarantees a great performance, she says.

"But then, I sh*t myself before everything...The bigger the freak-out, the more I enjoy the show!"
One thing the curvy star doesn't get caught up in: Hollywood's obsession with diets and getting thing. "I've seen people where it rules their lives, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down," she tells Vogue. "And I don't want that in my life...I have [body] insecurities, of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me."

Right now, British star is single. "I do get massively distracted when I've got someone in my life, which I can't afford to do right now," she explains. "Besides, no one treats me as well as I do."
But, one day, if the right guy comes along, she's not opposed to becoming a mom -- to little boys, that is.

"I've always got on better with boys. Most of my friends are boys," Adele admits. "Like, if I have children, I want five boys. Boys love their mothers whereas girls can be so mean to each other."
The October issue of British Vogue hits stands on Thursday.

8Adele is a very rare celeb / artist. Im glad she is happy being who she is and won't swept up in the "thin is in" craze. Beauty is NOT skin deep, beauty is within moreso. A person can change their appearance but the insides usually stays intact. I feel she is one helluva beautiful lady and her talent is mind blowing. I would love to see her in concert if she ever makes it to Canada (Alberta in particular).
Adele is an amazing singer! One of the best I've heard in decades. She has the old school sound. Like Janis Joplin and the mommas and papas. Real great voice that is going to make her a real legend!!!! Nice to hear some real singing this day and age.
If she pukes a lot shouldn't she be rather skinny?
I have so much respect for Adele. I think she is a stunning woman with an amazing voice. I cannot wait for her to release another album!
Jen - I have noticed a HUGE increase in typos as well - it does not speak well of US credibility. There's a function called spell check, they should really look into it! As for Adele - she is an amazing talent and woman - let the body issues go and love you for you! (easier said than done I know) but she has a very normal, voluptuous body. She's MY role model for the perfect body!
