Angelina Jolie gave Brad Pitt an $18,500 tree for Valentine's Day, the UK Sun is reporting.

Jolie, 34, plans to plant the 200-year-old olive tree at their $60 million estate in the south of France.
"Ange bought it from a nursery called The English Garden Centre in Valbonne, near their house. It's a very special tree and cost her a fortune," an insider tells the Sun.

The olive branch has traditionally been offered up as a truce and symbol of peace, making it an interesting gift considering the rampant split rumors about the couple of four years.
Pitt, 45, and Jolie recently put on a public display of affection at the Super Bowl.

Their lawyer told BBC News last week that the couple have begun legal proceedings against the News of the World, which reported on Jan. 24 that the two had agreed to divide their assets and made arrangements for the custody of their six children, Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 3, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 18 months.

63jolie's only saving grace is her charitable side...the other side of her: home wrecker. she was involved with a very married pitt in the beginning. a lot of fans are overlooking this fact and just continue to adore her b/c of her charitable ways.
ALSO... those complaing about what they've donated to Haiti. Between the 2 of them they donated $1,000,000...now on top of that Anelina Jolie went to Haiti as a U.S. Ambassador to check out the orphanages. Gisele may have donated $1,500,000 but that is ALL she did. When Katrina hit the 2 of them not only donated $$$ but bought a house there and started their own effort in building new homes for the people. WHAT THE HELL DO ANY OF YOU PEOPLE DO OTHER THAN SITTING BEHIND YOUR COMPUTERS TALKING CRAP ABOUT GOOD PEOPLE???? Your $5 or $10 donation is NOTHING compared to what these people do on a daily basis. What an interesting gift to give. I've heard the Brad Pitt really like Olives a lot. So I guess this would be her way of giving him what he desires for years to come while also helping the environment by planting a tree.
