Surgery at 20? You betcha!
Bristol Palin caused a major stir April 30 in Washington, D.C. at an afterparty for the White House Correspondents Association dinner: Debuting not just a slimmed-down bod and stylish new 'do but a distinctly more angled jaw and sharpened chin.

And the young mom, Dancing with the Stars alum and daughter of political superstar Sarah Palin knew what everyone was thinking. "It's not plastic surgery," she tells Us Weekly exclusively in the new issue, out Wednesday.
She explains: "I had corrective jaw surgery" back in December 2010, says the new Bio channel reality star, who has a 2-year-old son, Tripp, with ex-fiance Levi Johnston.

"Yes," she admits, "It improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons...so my jaw and teeth could properly realign...I don't obsess over my face"
Still, "I am absolutely thrilled with the results," she gushes. "I look older, more mature, and don't have as much of a chubby little baby face!"

I am not a fan of the Palins, in fact I find them annoying, but I think Bristol had every right to make any changes she wanted to and I personally think she looks great.

Love her new chin implant!
Her chin looks very long , too long. That is not caused by getting your jaw realigned. It really looks like a chin implant. She does look really pretty. I like it.
My mother had the same surgery, as her jaw misalignment was causing bit problems and other health issues. If you have a small chin prior to the surgery, then it helps your looks. If you have a larger chin before the surgery, then it hurts your looks. Insurance only pays for the medical procedure part of the surgery. If you want your chin size adjusted to compensate for the new jutting chin, then it is extra and out-of-pocket. My mother didn't have the money to pay for the extra costs to correct the jutting chin that the corrective surgery caused, and now she looks drastically different (and worse). In other words, this surgery isn't plastic surgery by any means. And the results are variable from person to person. Without the surgery, you can wear down your teeth (my mother had to have 4 pulled--2 before the surgery and 2 after) and can also change how your cheek structure looks, as well as the jawline. And yes, the procedure is very painful. And you lose weight, because you can't eat solid food afterwards.

I still think she looked better before she had the surgery. Her chin looks too pointy now.
Bristol is a Palin Princess. She is bold, brilliant, beautiful. She has super-star power.
She's exactly like Mommy - they both suffer from Pinnochio Nose Syndrome which is only cured by "corrective truth surgery".

Bristol was a beautiful young lady before and now she is even more beautiful. But look at her parents. Her mom is beautiful and her father is handsome and the entire family are "true Americans". They represent those who made America the envy of the entire world. Long live the Palins!
She had a plain 'ol nip/tuck because she realized weight loss won't get rid of her baby fat face. Corrective jaw surgery varies from person to person with the results but she's just using that as a smokescreen so she won't be frowned on for just wanted a face lift or tuck/fat removed so she could finally look her age and older and not 13 with baby fat and jowls.
