Carrie Underwood isn't feeling the love in the Great White North.

During a recent trip to Montreal with Ottawa-based hubby Mike Fisher, 30, "our car got broken into," the five-time Grammy winner, 27, told Minneapolis radio station K102 in an interview Thursday. "So that was fun. I am not going back to Montreal."

And though their ride was a rental -- "We had to...call them and be like, 'We're sorry! The car is broken,'" said Underwood -- the experience turned her off the city.

That's not to say the country crooner doesn't like splitting her time between her Nashville pad and the hockey stud's home in Canada.

"We're together a lot more than people think we are," she said. "Even if it's just for a day, we get to pop in. We'll make sure we put the extra time and effort to do that."

The multi-platinum selling artist added that she relishes her new role as a missus.

"It is nice being a hockey wife," she said. "Of course now I'm like cleaning the house, buying the groceries...I can spend hours in a grocery store and I'm the happiest person in the universe."

I'm with Donna Clifton: regular wives clean the house and buy the groceries as much as hockey and superstar wives do,if not more so...also I wish Carrie and Mike the best of luck, but I also can't help but wonder: sure Carrie "likes being a hockey wife" and "is the happiest person in the universe" NOW,but what about when her next music tour OR Mike's game schedule pulls them apart for what could be long stretches of time? They are both very busy... it COULD happen...I'm not trying to be Ms Negative or anything, but it's possible ( and I'm just saying POSSIBLE) a Scarlett/Ryan situation may arise in a couple of years... they had passion for each other but their busy careers and success ultimately broke them up...

Carrie was ABSOLUTELY JOKING. C'mon! She LOVES Canada. I was one of the two people interviewing her when this came up. She's a fun loving, upbeat, adorable human being and was just being laid back & silly about an unfortunate incident that could happen anywhere. I am sure she'll be back to Montreal. Yet, I bet she & Mike will be more careful about where they park!

US/ the site seem to lie all the time and twist words around i have heard the Interview myself and she did not sound mean at all, and when she said i am not going back ntreal she was laughing she was JOKING, i bet you wouldn't like it if you were in some foreign state or province and someone broke into your Car! you wouldn't LIKE it either! Secondly she did not say she enjoyed being a hockey wife she said she's trying to get used to IT !! Many Other newlyweds say the same thing meaning they say they're trying to settle in to married life.So i don't know how you guys find that offensive it's laughable really and carrie is not a B she's a sweet person!

It's nice being a hockey wife? I always thought she was sweet but that was kind of a pretentious thing to say. I do those things and I'm a regular wife. :/

As a Canadian (from Toronto), I can support Carrie's opinion of Montreal. As beautifil as the city is, the crime rate is ridiculous! You don't wander out in the downtown core after dark alone, and the murder rate is one of the highest in Canada. There is also the on-going Mafia wars (NOT joking!!!). The two big 'familias' have been killing one another for the last couple years, and the other day, a funeral home (Again, not joking!) owned by the most notorious Mafia family in Canada, the Rizzuto Family) was fire bombed. The Rizzutos have ties to the Bonanos and even the Gottis in the past!!!I won't go to Montreal!! Love Carrie and thing she is a wonderful talent. Ottawa is great and so is Toronto (Onario). Come to Canaada, stay out of Quebec!!!!

She can't be turned off on a whole city because of one incident. That's silly.
