This Monday, Sept. 27, Khloe Kardashian Odom and Lamar Odom will mark their very first wedding anniversary.
After just a month of dating, the reality star, 26 and L.A. Laker, 30, tied the knot last year at the L.A. mansion of music mogul Irving Azoff, a Kardashian family friend.
How will the still-going-strong pair celebrate their paper anniversary?
"I kind of got to keep it a secret," Lamar told UsMagazine.com Tuesday at the Axe Music "One Night Only" concert series featuring Weezer, held at Hollywood's Dunes Inn Motel.
Khloe was similarly mum. "I don't know," she told Us at the Axe show. "I found out that there's a surprise happening, but I have no idea -- and I don't want to know."
Whatever festivities are in store, it's all on Lamar. "I'm not doing anything!" she told Us. But year one of wedded bliss, she said, has been "amazing. It gets better and better every single day. It really does!"
The happy couple admit that they understand the scrutiny about their quickie wedding. "I've never faulted people for [that]. I totally get it. I've always said from day one that it's real love, and it is," Khloe said. "But I've never, ever was angry with anyone for thinking anything that way. I was only upset when people said we had a fake wedding.”
Added Lamar: "Everybody is different and everybody has walked down different roads in life. At the end of the day, we are lucky."
His favorite thing about their marriage? "Our friendship, our compatibility," he told Us. "We spend so much time with each other and we love it. It comes naturally; it comes to us very easy."
As usual, the couple's baby plans are a work in progress. "We are working on it!" Lamar said of conceiving their first child. "We work on it every day...me and Khloe are extremely compatible and we look forward to having some little ones."
