Mariah Carey Disses Kim Kardashian?

Showing off her incredible post-baby body, Mariah Carey graces the cover of this week's Us Weekly -- and apparently she read last week's cover story, too!
The slimmed-down singer and mom to twins made a not-so-subtle joke about Kim Kardashian's quickie divorce at a press conference held at the Four Seasons in NYC, where Carey was unveiled as the new ambassador for Jenny (formerly Jenny Craig).

"I'm a real person, I'm not going to put on a fake face for Hollywood," Carey told the crowd as she dished on her marriage to hubby Nick Cannon, with whom she shares six-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

"Sometimes we make each other mad, that's why we aren't divorced after four months," she cracked. The crowd audibly gasped after that remark. The most notorious quickie divorce these days, of course, is 31-year-old Kardashian, who filed Oct. 31 after just 72 days of matrimony with Kris Humphries.
Looking sheepish after her crack, the "Butterfly" singer said, "I'm sorry, I'm just saying."

Looking back on the earlier days of her career she added, "You know, I had a situation in the past where I was controlled, and I was really young, and it affected the way I trusted people. I had no team, besides my dog and my cat. Me and Nick we always joke, I'm an Aries, I need so much attention!"

40Mariah isn't splashed all over the tabloids, she has had numerous hit records, there's no sex tape out there of her, and she doesn't curse at her Mother like the "classy" Kardashians do. Her first marriage lasted FIVE YEARS. She clearly married Nick for love, not because she has an obsession with love & marriage like Kim. Kim is in love with the idea of love. She's a relationship junkie. She's had how many boyfriends? Come on now..
I think everyone nees to lay off Kim. She made a mistake. Dont we all? I feel bad for her that everyone is cracking on her. Thank God my past is not news worthy!
I am at te point where I really feel sorry for Kim she is in love with being in love and got caught up in the whole thing marriage wanting kids and all that and you have to remember she is 31 years old and wants to start having babies like Kortney. Please folks give Kim a break because this must not be an easy thing to go thru in public and not have anyone in her corner.
Marish needs to remember she married Nick after a short courtship and it is only by the grace of the Man Above that her marriage has lasted. I remember when people only gave her marriage to last a few months. I use to like Mariah before she got this holier than thou attitude and people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
I don't know, after all, Kim is facing a bitter divorce--after only 72 days of marriage, and now all of a sudden Mariah wants to diss the poor child. I think they need to take the battle else where, like the boxing or wrestling ring. It'd be ON and POPPIN'!!!!!!

Although I think it is bad that Kim's marriage only lasted 72 days, I think it is so funny that so many celebrities are bashing Kim, while most of them have had 1 or 2 marriages under their belts already, and those marriages only lasted a few years or only months.. So maybe Mariah Carey should keep quiet, because maybe something will happen to her present marriage.

I really don't see that comment directed at Kim personally. I think she's pointing toward all celebrities who divorce quickly. Others have too, not just Kim. Just because Kim is the most recent made public doesn't mean it's necessarily toward her. Just another way to focus on a low-life Kardashian by the media.

The best way to keep ppl from talking sh*t about you is 1. Don't air all of your business in the media. 2. Don't do and give sh*t for ppl to talk about.
