No day-after regrets for Miley Cyrus. Nearly 24 hours after her headline-making, head-scratching performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn, NY, the 20-year-old singer-actress continued along the same raunchy, twerk-y lines via Twitter, sharing raunchy pictures of herself with her 13.3 million followers.

The theme of this impromptu shoot? Softcore-style locker room antics! Hanging out in what appears to be a supply closet filled with sports jerseys, the former Disney star, seen only from behind, wears a red sports bra, tight white biker shorts and a black thong, stepping onto a nearby shelf for support. "#23 #youcanthangwithus #boyslockerroom," reads the caption. In another backside image, Cyrus squats and appears to be wearing a short, platinum blond wig and a skimpy cheerleader outfit emblazoned with "Jordan" and the number 23.

The "We Can't Stop" singer also shrugged off the backlash against her tongue- and hip-thrusting routine alongside Robin Thicke (complete with a a foam finger used to lascivious effect). Quoting praise from Rolling Stone, Cyrus posted: "Miley was the one star in the room who truly understood what the MTV Video Music Awards are all about! Miley stole the night, which is why the nation is still in recovery today. Thanks, Miley..."

Behind the scenes, Cyrus' posse is "freaking out about that performance," one insider told Us Weekly. "They saw the rehearsals, but those were really played down compared to the live performance."

Countered a second source: "It's the VMAs, of course she's going to do a standout performance!"
