Butt seriously: a nude Bethenny Frankel will now greet tourists and New Yorkers on a giant billboard near Manhattan's Times Square. Emblazoned with the text "Fur? I'd Rather go Naked," the traffic-stopping ad (shot by photographer Joseph Cultice) is the latest from PETA, of which the Real Housewives of New York star is now a supporter.

Frankel gets bonus points, too: she was pregnant when the au naturel shot was taken. "It's so tasteful and beautifully done," she told the New York Post. "I am especially pleased because it doesn't look like there's been any airbrushing and I was already pregnant when I shot it."

The cookbook author and reality star -- who'll return for the third season of Real Housewives as well as star in her own Bravo series -- admits that she "used to wear fur" like her socialite friends. After she encountered a PETA protester holding a sign of a "skinned animal," however she changed her ways. "It made me sick. I felt disgusting," she says in a PETA statement. "I'm cleaning out my closets -- trim, everything. I don't see any reason for cruelty."

I think you all missed the joke. She was referring to the spat she had with Luann over the Social Life cover and spread. Unfortunately, tone doesn't show up in writing. It was a joke!
LMAO The ad was photoshopped to make her face look like a woman's, and I don't understand why this article is giving her such props on "posing while pregnant"; if her pregnancy wasn't mentioned no one would ever guess by looking at this picture. I wish PETA spent their money on actually doing something with their resources than shelling out for the naked ads that do little to help their organization make real progress in animal rights.
I don't believe she was doing something positive for PETA,I think it's more like she's doing it for yet again more attention. Now next month will she be crying in the news for "too much" attention. Why do we even care!??

Nobody shows before they are three months pregnant with their first, plus the shot is from behind so there wouldn't be much to see. It's not like she was 7 mos pregnant or something & still had a flat tummy. She was like DAYS pregnant. flake
What an ego! She thinks there is no airbrushing? Who has a body that is the perfect color throughout, no scars, no beauty marks, not one bit of cellulite, toned perfectly, etc., etc. What an ego!
1) That is not her face; 2) She is a pregnant woman woman with no dignity whatsoever; and 3) She eats meat and wears leather so she is a hypocrit.
So much for a "Real" housewife! She's not even a "wife" yet and this is her 3rd season?? One more reason not to watch fake "reality" tv.

Way to go! She looks beautiful and it's for a GOOD cause. Why try to be so negative on someone/something trying to do something positive? Doing something good hearted always looks beautiful!
The PETA organization are as much hypocrits as the people that they protest against. When they first started they were a good organization that actually cared about the plight of animals....now all they are is a money making operation. I am not faulting the volunteer people that work with PETA....they truly believe what they are doing, however the corporation is in it just for the money. Personally I like my definition of P.E.T.A. People eating tasty animals.

Im a vegatarian and peta ads gross me out.i know dont look at them yadayada,but the commercial with the skinned animals made me wanna vomit.
