Taylor Swift Opens Up About Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer

On Friday's Ellen DeGeneres Show, Taylor Swift deftly fielded questions about Jake Gyllenhaal, with whom she spent some quality time in the NYC area last weekend.
When host Ellen DeGeneres asked the singer, 20, how she feels "about love right now," Swift replied, "I'm always optimistic about love...always, sometimes."

"But right now you are [optimistic]?" DeGeneres asked.
"Well, why wouldn't anyone be?" Swift answered.
"Especially if your boyfriend is Jake Gyllenhaal, because he is very handsome," DeGeneres teased. "Y'all are just hanging out though right?"
"You have a picture of us on the screen, don't you?" Swift retorted.

Swift and Gyllenaal, who is nearly a decade older at 29, were spotted Saturday touring the fall foliage and apple picking in Hopewell Junction, N.Y. "They looked happy," a witness said. The duo later attended an SNL taping and Sunday brunch in Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood.
During her Ellen appearance, Swift also talked about "Dear John," an angry ballad from her new album Speak Now, that seems to be about rumored fling John Mayer.

Swift told DeGeneres the track "could be" a "Dear John" about Mayer. "That song kind of is what it is," she quipped.
"OK, great," DeGeneres chirped. "We know the answer now. It's about him [John Mayer]. You didn't dispute it so obviously..."

She'll do anything for attention. She gets boyfriends who will eventually dump her (who wouldn't) so she can write crazy songs for attention.
Jake, not so goodlooking, fair actor. John Meyer, not so good looking, great singer. She obviously is not into looks. Maybe she should try a good looking man that treats her right, with no money, wouldn't she rather be adored and treated well. Ugly guys, can be just as callous as good looking men. Being put down by an ugly guy is embarrassing. I wouldn't even tell a soul, much less sing about it. Being young does have it down falls.
Why would anyone ever consider her? Skinny and awkward, with a goofy singing voice. Please-
Ellen is too funny. Why would Tayor ever consider John? He's in his 30's and she is so young and innocent. I don't get the appeal in him with his huge head and strange, cocky personlaity but women seem to fall hard for him. Maybe he's a good lover.I did like him with Jennifer A, though. Two pot heads who won't grow up!

At the end of the day weather she's going out with him or not is her business so she shouldn't have to say if it's true or not. Xx
