You go Christina. I'm a 42 year survivor of Bone Cancer. Diagnosed on my 15th birthday Dec. 23, 1969. given 4 months to live. !8 months of chemo and a month of radiation and lots of prayers. Hve two grown children and have been married 35 years. Lost my leg at 24 due to a bone infection steming from the cancer, but I'm on my 3rd artificial leg. No big deal. Everyday you wake up is a GOOD DAY. Keep going strong survivors.

Christina, I admire your courage and the ability to never give up. Congratulations on your new baby girl Sadie... I am a cancer survivor as well seven years but still struggle everyday with the emotionally aspect of my story. My Father is a breast cancer survivor of 3 years..but I am a strong woman and push forward on with whoever I can help during their hurdle in life... I call it a hurdle because it is only an object that can be cleared..I am in the process of putting together with some NBA players a fundraiser for the Susan G. Foundation.. Any thing you can do that to help would be appriciated..Anything that would help wipe out this devastating disease for all women and men in some cases.. .. Thank you and Sincerely, Kelly Hull

After she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, Applegate underwent a double mastectomy. The following year, the cancer-free actress launched the Right Action foundation, which provides financial aid to women who want MRIs. "That's what saved my life, and I want to give back," she told Us.
