Best known for her role as Carmela on The Sopranos, Edie Falco received three Emmy’s and two Golden Globes for the part (and was nominated for many more).
After being trained at the Conservatory of Theater Arts & Film, the native New Yorker’s career blossomed as she accepted roles on TV dramas like Law & Order and Oz, which she used to springboard herself into the Sopranos cast.
Currently unmarried, Falco has an adopted son, Anderson, and a daughter, Macy.
Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003, the actress credits her 17 years of sobriety for helping her beat the disease.
