Ewan McGregor
Biography:
Born in Scotland, McGregor left school at age 16 to work at Perth Theatre and study drama, which he moved to London to do full-time at age 18. He first received recognition in 1996’s Trainspotting and later starred in the sequel.
Though best known for playing the young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Stars Wars prequel films, he also had memorable roles in the musical Moulin Rouge, Big Fish, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Fargo, Doctor Sleep and many more projects.
McGregor was married to production designer Eve Mavrakis from 1995 to 2017 and the pair share four children. Their divorce was finalized in 2020. The Emmy winner began dating Mary Elizabeth Winstead in 2017 and they welcomed a son, Laurie, together in 2021.
