Four days after welcoming son Egypt, Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz stepped out in NYC Monday to go shopping for baby clothes.

33I don't know why people believe everything they read. Seems a little strange to me. It's pretty simple, if you like her music listen to it, if you don't like it don't listen to it. Her personal life is hers. We have no right to even be concerned. If it wasn't for this wonderful internet and so much media coverage these days no one would even know or care. Guess theres lots of people who got a pass before all this came along. And fortunately lots of you were probably loving everything about those people and suporting them. It's a shame some just go along blindly accepting everything that is written as the truth.

to be honest we dont hear much about it here in the uk we only hear about keyes music so when she married this man i didnt think much about it assuming it was just a normal relationship .. however when i read that article with mashonda i was filled with horror.. am sorry but its not on to indulge with another womans man when you know them as a couple not that the man is blameless but still its a matter of principle. the girl in the uk i thought was a white russian but maybe i read it wrong however there are four children all over the place here and it seems keyes wants them all to call her mom.. wtf? keyes has lowered her self in many peoples estimation she looks like a homewrecker and he is a jerk what happened to all that money and where is his loyalty to one who was there when he had nothing ? men!.
@Olubunmi Oyewobi: actually the woman in the U.K. is young and brown skinned I don't know her nationality is but she, like Mashonda and Keys, is a very pretty girl. I would encourage everyone to read Mashonda's full interview with Vibe (either online or where ever). I was amazed at her resilience and her beauty inside and all that she has went through and she still has so much courage and spark for life. I am not a negative person either but I can't even listen to Alicia Keys music anymore because all I see is her with that dud Swizz and her immoral behavior. Alicia "Immoral" Keys.

i agree with you jade ali, i got hold of a copy of the american magazine "sister 2 sister" and there is an interview with his ex wife mashonda . this character is nothing to write home about .. no doubt he will be moving on eventually four children by as many women and one with a russian woman who didnt know he was married ! whats to say he wont do it again and again? we women are suckers for a sob story and a smooth line..

I don't get it. People ALWAYS say negative things when celebs leave their kids at home. If you say you don't need someone to watch your kids for a short time so you can slip away then you're full of it. The only diff is that celebs have enough money to provide a live in nanny so they can step out whenever. They where buying baby clothes...not leaving the country or going to a party. You're just jealous or angry that you can't step out for a few and take a breather. Sorry, this is kind of overflowing from other posts about this same topic. Not everyone is like that and I want to congratulate you 2 on your baby.
Ok, so Alicia steps out 4 days after giving birth. What am I suppose to do throw her a party? Women give birth every single day. What makes her anymore special?? Because she has millions in the bank. I could care a less how much money someone has. Its how they are on the inside.

Grandparents are capable and more than willing to watch their grandkids. No better choice. What are your people's problem? Everyone needs to get away sometimes. Besides I don't think she would have just left him with just anybody. It's great if you have someone you can really trust, and even better if that person is close family. (grandmother) As far as walking, doctors recomend women walk the day after. I know you people criticizing are not REALLY worried about her, just something else to criticize. She looks great. Glad she trusts someone and took some time for herself.
@emi antonva: Swizz Beats has 3 other children with 3 other women and yes Alicia Keys and their son together make 4. In another magazine his ex-wife gave an interview and said that he has a daughter with a younger woman and that all she wants is is for all 4 of his children to grow up together.

Maybe the Headline should say "Congratulations Alicia Keys for being the FOURTH BABY MOMMA". Since baby isn't in Neonatal that means his birth confirms his daddy's infidelity, man how does a dude who looks like Playdoh, has three other kids and has $2 million in debt owed to the IRS get someone like Alicia Keys and get her to spend $500,000 on his birthday WTF?
