The babies are here! NFL player Antonio Cromartie and wife Terricka Cromartie welcomed their twin babies into the world on Sunday, May 8, the happy couple confirm exclusively to Us Weekly.
Jynx Revell-Antonio Cromartie was born about five minutes before his twin sister, J’adore Nayvi Cromartie, a rep for the stars tells Us. Jynx weighed in at 5 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 19 inches, while J’adore was 5 pounds, 8 ounces, and 19 inches at birth. The proud parents are “doing great and extremely excited.”

“It was the most amazing, yet rewarding gift to give birth on Mother’s Day. This is a storybook fairy-tale for Antonio and I,” Terricka tells Us exclusively. Adds Antonio, who delivered his son (in custom Stork Delivery Company scrubs, natch): “It was an adrenaline rush — the most amazing feeling to actually bring my son into this world and to hand him over to my beautiful wife.”
The couple, who married in November 2008, already have two children, daughter Jurzie, 5, and son Jagger, 3. They revealed in February that they were expecting a son and a daughter this time around. Antonio also has eight other children from previous relationships — so they know what they’re getting into, and they’re prepared. The family has already received Mama Roo’s infant seats, Halo Bassinest sleepers, Doona car seats and a Britax double-stroller.
As Us reported previously the couple were stunned to discover they were expecting again because the New York Jets cornerback had already had a vasectomy. Terricka discovered she was pregnant with not one, but two babies when she went to the emergency room back in October, suffering bad stomach cramps.
“I really thought I was dreaming, even after, I was just in total disbelief,” she told Us.
But despite their latest additions being a huge surprise, both Antonio, 27, and his wife consider their babies a huge blessing, and have some straight-talking words for anybody who wants to criticize.
“It took me a while to process it,” Terricka, 28, admitted of her most recent pregnancy, “but Antonio stood firm and was saying, ‘It’s God’s will.’ And he’s been excited the whole time.”
“To be honest, I’ve gone back and forth about if I wanted to share the news or not,” she explained to Us. “All my children are blessings and all of Antonio’s children are blessings, for that matter. It was made to seem that my children weren’t a blessing because they were categorized by a number, and for that reason and that reason alone, I hid both of my [first two] pregnancies with my husband, just so I could enjoy them with those who were really happy for me.”
But while the happy mom of four is delighted with her newest arrivals, she’s taking steps to make sure these babies are her last — she’s getting her tubes tied!
