Baby on board! Grey's Anatomy star Caterina Scorsone is pregnant and expecting her second child with husband Rob Giles, she confirmed at the Disney/ABC Television Critics Association party in Beverly Hills on Thursday, August 4.

Walking the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton in a fitted, long-sleeve black dress with a white collar, the 34-year-old actress showed off her baby bump for photographers. According to Entertainment Tonight, she's due in the middle of production of season 13 of Grey's.

"It'll be challenging. It's going to happen somewhere during the shooting season," Scorsone, who plays Amelia Shepherd on the ABC medical drama, told ET. "But Shondaland is the best place for that to happen."

As for whether her pregnancy will have any effect on her character's story line? "I don't think so. We're picking up the season immediately after we left off, which was the wedding where Amelia was not pregnant," she explained, joking that the director of photography would be doing some "very fancy footwork" to hide her bump.

The 1-800-Missing alum noted too that she and her husband, who married in 2009, are "very, very excited" for the new addition to their family. They know the sex of the baby but are "kind of not [saying]" for now, she added to ET.

The little boy or girl will join big sister Eliza, 4, who Scorsone and Giles welcomed in July 2012. That pregnancy was written into Amelia's story line in the Grey's spinoff Private Practice. Both shows were created by Shonda Rhimes.
