compared 2 the gosselins, this family is kindhearted, down 2 earth and really want their children 2 learn about life, yes all those kids can be much, but i now each + every 1 of them wil hav gr8 careers!
its great that they love God and love their kids and all that but its beyond me how those babies arent walking or sliding out of her v@g!n@ by now. kind of gross........
I think the Duggars are an amazing family.. i always joke to my husband.. man i wish more guys would be like jim bob.. they have such a bond, thats so true.. its amazing.. and the way they structure there household is awesome.. i have a 6yr.old and a 14month old.. but i hope my family turns out like theres.. there awesome..

Don't you think your body has had enough trauma. Your children are precious. Enjoy them and if you don't use protection, you will have a baby every year. It's a known fact for someone as fertile as you. G-d bless and be careful.

Ok people.. think about this.. She JUST had Josie in December right? There's no way she's pregnant again & already knows the sex of the baby! This video is obviously from finding out the sex of Josie. There is no baby #20 on the way, or at least not yet! Although I wouldn't want to have that many children, being someone who's struggled with infertility I do understand what a precious gift each child is. I think it's very courageous to leave their family size in God's hands. "God never gives you something he dosen't think you need in your life." As long as those kids are happy & taken care of- I don't see the harm. There's plenty of people out there who just have 1 or 2 kids that don't take care of their children half as good as they do!
Im sure there isnt a person on here who deosnt wish Josie well. It amazes me all the blanket assumptions by so called Christians I come from a typical two kid home and was raised with morals. Bad behavior happens in all walks of life even religous circles you just wont see it on T.V. How do we know the kids are happy? We only see a small portion of their lives on TV.
merry47... Do you not read the other coments? geeze. I JUST said they do not believe in birth control as it is a chemical abortificiant and they are pentecostal. Also, SHE DID NOT GET PREGNANT AGAIN. This show just aired, the baby's gender they were revealing was JOSIE'S. They wouldn't have even have had time to get pregnant again and FIND OUT much less know the sex which can only be detected as early as 16 weeks and its only been 7 weeks since Josie was born. What are you, 12? THEYRE MARRIED, are stable, and can take care of their children, there are no "consequences" to their actions.
It seems to me that they enjoying s.x so much that they forget about the consequence of their actions. The little one is still so small and the mother get pregnant again. Can they practice birthcontrol by using Co, IUD, patch, DP or something like that? They still can enjoy having s.x without going to be pregnant. Maybe they will be able to enjoy s.x more!!!! Unbelievable!!!!

Rhonda, most colleges look for home schoolers because they are more mature and better adjusted in a learning environment. More than half of the high school home schoolers are in dual enrollment in college! The Duggar children also seem very smart. And they HAVE a home school curriculum. The reason you probably think badly of home schooling is because you're probably thinking of the legal process of "unschooling" which is NO curriculum. They do actually school their children and very well I believe. Kids get beat up on school buses, spend 8 hours at school everyday, and after getting barely anything learned or accomplished they come home and do 2 more hours of home work. Not that ALL public schools are bad. But maybe it can be said that it is selfish to not home school, ever think of that?
LOL some of your comments intentional or otherwise were simply hilarious. Do you really think this country was founded by people willing to only have 1.2 children and only if there was a school from K-12 available? On average children like the D-fam score 30 points above their public school counter parts in standardized tests. Even their 19 to 1 teacher student ratio is better than most public schools. So far none of them have been busted for drugs or gang activity. In fact they all seem happy, well adjusted, and mature for their age. And as for being selfish, anyone who becomes a parent to one or nineteen knows that it is the MOST UNSELFISH act there is. I wish more families were like the Duggars and that more children were born into homes where there is love, laughter, and values.
Lizzie, she was 1 pound and 6 ounces, not 1 ounce you idiot. This is terribly sad, i am praying for them and hope Josie gets to go home soon! LISTEN UP YOU JUDGMENTAL BUTTHEADS. The Duggar's were debt free BEFORE TLC picked them up for a show. They had 16 children then. They are PENTECOSTAL which means, ladies and gentlemen, that they have morals. Yes, Jen, they do tell their kids to have self control. Meaning not to have sex before marriage. Last time I checked Jim-Bob and Michelle were married! They don't lean on government support. And if you don't like the show, you should just be happy that that's how they are getting some income and not through government checks since you're so against your tax money going to them, as you should be because people should get jobs and support their own family, which they're doing! It shouldn't matter to you how many kids they have. And NEWS FLASH, the older kids actually share their parents' good morals and work ethic and LOVE their siblings and enjoy helping with them. The don't raise them though! I'm glad they are contributing such well balanced, respectful children to society, we need more of that. Just because you don't understand the way someone lives doesn't mean it's wrong! Maybe if you actually watched this series rather than just commenting on the simple information that you have you would have a better understanding for what they do, even if you wouldn't do it. They had a baby who died because of complications from Michelle taking Birth control. They then did the research and realized that it is a chemical abortificiant. They vowed to not prevent pregnancy again (although they believe in condoms) and they put it up to God to stop pregnancy when He wants to. And you know what, I can respect that. I'm pretty sure that after seeing Josie's complications caused by an older-mother pregnancy they will get a hysterectomy or vasectomy or both. But let them decide PRIVATELY. OK? Ok.
