Eric Christian Olsen and Sarah Wright have a baby on the way! The actors hit up the Kaleidoscope Ball in Beverly Hills Apr. 17 (benefitting the UCLA Children's Discovery and Innovation Institute), where they confirmed to Us Weekly that Wright will welcome a baby boy in August.
"I feel amazing!" said Wright, who dressed her baby bump in a knee-length white cocktail dress. "I was completely exhausted the first three months and just felt sick and nauseous, and then I got to my second trimester and it was like clockwork. Right at 14-15 weeks I was like, 'Let's go do something! Let's go to the beach. Let's go on a hike!'"
Olsen, 35, joked that during his wife's first trimester, "She was curled up in a ball by the fireplace and I was bringing her crackers." Now that the 29-year-old actress has resumed her active lifestyle, he added, "She's in that place where she's just glowing and happy and obviously stunning as always.
The NCIS: Los Angeles actor has been doting on the Parks and Recreation guest star, often making trips to In-N-Out Burger to buy her milkshakes. Wright, he joked, "is reading 75,000 books" to prep for motherhood. "Every day we get a book from Amazon and she gives me the highlights and sets it on my side table, so her stack of books gets smaller and my stack gets bigger."
Olsen — known for his roles in Fired Up, Not Another Teen Movie, The Hot Chick, Celeste and Jesse Forever, The Back-Up Plan and Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd — added that he also has several pregnancy apps on his phone — including one that compares the size of their growing baby to fruit. "It started out as a lemon or a poppy seed," he said. Said Wright, "He's like, 'Our baby is the size of a papaya today!"
The future parents began dating in 2007 and got engaged four years later. Olsen and Wright — who has appeared on several TV shows, including Happy Endings, How I Met Your Mother and 7th Heaven — got married in June 2012.
