Sounds homey!

Gisele Bundchen has revealed to a Brazilian magazine how her son Benjamin Brady arrived: in the bathtub!

See who else has recently joined Hollywood's Mommy club!

Bundchen, 29, tells Fantastico magazine: "I gave birth in the bathtub" at the Boston penthouse she shares with husband Tom Brady. Initial reports had suggested that Benjamin's Dec. 8 birth took place at a Boston-area hospital.

Gisele and Tom weren't the only A-list wedding of 2009 -- see them all!

The magazine visited Bundchen on a photo shoot -- back in shape just six weeks after giving birth -- for a Brazilian fashion line.

"Gisele gives off simplicity, spirituality, shows that she has concern with living well, being happy and, now, with being an excellent mom," the magazine notes in its online preview.

Bundchen married Brady, 32, in a traditional Catholic ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif Feb. 26 of last year. Ten days after Benjamin's birth, Bundchen revealed their baby's name on her website. "I am living a very special moment in my life. Benjamin is a blessing and I could not be happier," she cooed.

If doctors in Brazil push for C-sections it's because they'll be paid more!!!! That's also a reality women.

I was bottle fed because I couldn't suck due to birth trauma from the use of foresepts so I had to be bottle fed good luck to giselle and tom with baby ben by the way if I ever have children I'm going the natural way and breast feeding if possible

I was formula fed & my mom would let us cry for a while and then go. I am 22 and healthy so all your facts that letting a child cry can cause health problems is non-sense.

  • February 19, 2010 - 5:04pm k8tie

Also, another piece of information. I know people who were formula fed and people who were breast fed & those who were breast fed are sick 10x's more often then those who were formula fed.

My mom did not breast feed me, i was formula fed & when we were upset my mom would wait a while and then come in and i turned out just fine. All these facts you people post about letting a baby cry can cause medical problems is just non-sense. I am 22 and healthy.

'Natrual' Birth: Go back to school and address that dyslexia. Keep applauding like a challenged seal. Every birth is different so stop generalizing when it comes to American women. Enough from the verbally challenged nut department already, lmao! If you did it 'natrual,' then by golly put a smile on that face, now! 'G': don't waste your breath. Congrats on your beautiful healthy children. These 'natrual' folks have got some loosey goosey screws.

G, you are an idiot, for one, any doctor who says letting a baby cry it out is healthy should not be allowed to practice. Recent studies show that letting a baby cry it out can cause serious health issues, I won't quote exactly what it did because I can't remember it at the moment, but I know it was enough to never do it to my child. IMO, any mother that can just sit back and listen to their newborn scream to death is no mother at all. And yes, everyone and their mothers knows formula feeding will NEVER come close to the benefits of breastfeeding, and as a mother of two children, I think I would want to kill myself if my kids ever had a drop of nasty toxic formula. The World Health Organization actually places formula feeding as fourth in acceptable infant feeding. First is breastfeeding, second is mothers expressed milk, third is another womans milk, and formula as a last resort. And most women who think their c-sections were medically necessary actually experienced something called an "Unnecessaren", or unnecessary cesarean. So-called "problems" such as failure to progress, baby too big, frame too small, prior c-section[s], and even some distress are horrible reasons for c-sections. If more women did their research about evidence based practices instead of the horrible routine hoops we are put through by our trained surgeons aka OBs in hospitals today, more of us would be having safer, healthier normal births like Gisele with better outcomes for both mom and baby. Congratulations GIsele, you deserve a medal, especially when the c-section rate in Brazil is EXTREMELY, DANGEROUSLY high.

Being brazilian like Giselle I totally understand where she comes from. In Brazil the majority of women have elective c-sections because for many years doctors brainwashed them and now they believe c-sections are the best way to give birth. So it's a BIG deal when you can do it naturally. People in Brazil still roll their eyes when I say I had two normal deliveries (with epidural!). Having said that I totally agree that it doesn't matter how you give birth as long as your baby is healthy. Just try to understand the cultural differences.

Sorry, NaturalBirth, not all c-section moms have a choice. I gave birth to 2 beautiful, healthy baby girls. I also breastfeed, babies wean when they want. My kids don't cry it out in their cribs. I wear my baby in a sling whenever she wants. Not all of us are drug seeking or self centered. At least I don't think that I'm better than anyone else because of the method used to give birth. Get over yourself. Good for Gisele for the homebirth! I would do it if I could!

It doesn't matter what way a woman gives birth, what matters is that the baby is born healthy. when my son was born he wasn't breathing and had to stay in the nursery for 3 days with an I.V. in each of his little hands. i could go in the nursery but couldn't touch him or talk to him FOR 3 DAYS!!! Thats torture for a mother!! We all need to realize women do what's best for their baby and not what anyone else says or says is right or wrong

    relax G take your pills

  • January 30, 2010 - 9:13am G

and just so you know, letting your child "cry it out" is a doctor recommended strategy for getting a child to sleep through the night at an early age!! Duh!!

  • January 30, 2010 - 9:11am G

To "NatrualBirth" (who by the way obviously can't spell)...I am a mother who gave birth to 2 beautiful children via c-section, not by choice but by medical necessity. Women don't usually "choose" to have a c-section you moron!! I also happen to be bottle feeding, which you also insulted...but whether my child eats from a breast or a bottle doesn't mean I am a worse or better mother for it, or that she is any less loved!! What the h-e-l-l is wrong with you?!?! Shut your mouth before you embarrass yourself any further.

Seriously, choosing to have a natural birth should be applauded, not mocked. Good for her!

  • January 29, 2010 - 6:19pm NatrualBirth

Always those hateful faked mothers, that had a c-section, are bottle feeding because nursing is too natural and letting their baby cry-it-out. She accomplished what most American women don't do. Giving birth without epidural and all natural. She is probably a better person than those dug-needing-c-section mothers. I applaud her!

  • January 29, 2010 - 2:14pm SoonerGirl1064

Uh, did anyone really need to know how she gave birth or where she gave birth? I am glad their baby was born healthy, but why does she feel so compelled to tell the world where she was when she gave birth?
