Hilary Duff's baby boy hasn't been born yet, but she's already gearing up for life as a working mom!
"I want to get into the studio," Duff tells E! News. "I want to start recording. Even if I just mess around and kind of get myself in the swing of it. Before I got pregnant I was thinking about making a record so I still want to do that." (Duff's most recent album, Dignity, was released in 2007.)
But the 24-year-old wants to have a little time at home with her and Mike Comrie's little one before getting back to work. "I think that after I have the baby I'll want to sit still for a few months and learn how to be a really good mom, " she says. "And then there's no reason why I can't put a record out and tour... It might take a little while but I'm really excited about it."
In an appearance last week on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Duff described pregnancy as "kind of like a little alien has taken over your body. You just don't quite feel normal. But it's cool."
