John Travolta, Kelly Preston Welcome Baby Boy!

John Travolta and Kelly Preston are giving thanks...for their healthy new baby boy!
Their son -- named Benjamin -- was born at an undisclosed Florida hospital on Tuesday, their publicist told UsMagazine.com.
Benjamin Travolta weighed 8 pounds and 3 ounces.

Travolta, 56, Preston, 48 and daughter Ella Bleu, 10, are ""are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family," the rep told Us in a statement.
Mom and child "are healthy and doing beautifully," added the rep.

Benjamin is the third child for the Hollywood couple, who have been married for 19 years. Tragically, their eldest child, son Jett, died in January 2009 at age 16 after suffering a seizure. The couple was then extorted by Bahamian paramedics who first responded to the call.

In June, Kelly Preson's mom, Linda Carlson, told UsMagazine.com that her actress daughter had been "longing for another baby," particularly after Jett's death.
"It's taken [Preston and Travolta] out of such deep grief and made them able to focus on new life," Carlson said. "It just couldn't come at a better time."

I don't know statistics, but I can imagine losing a child can break a family and then eventually the family goes seperate ways. Benjamin is keeping a loving family together and it was God's will to give them a beautiful child. I wish them years of happiness. They are a very strong couple and family. And an inspiration to all who have lost. God bless them and their family.
Many happy wishes to their whole family! While I can see both sides of the coin, no one really knows what it's like to be in their shoes, so unless you are Travoltas themselves, you can't pretend to know what they went through or understand the decisions they made. But a new life is also a blessing & I send my heartfelt congrats! :)

Im going to honest as much as Im happy for them they're too old to have a newborn. He could be a grandfather. To me they're tracing to replace Jett...something that won't happen.

I am very happyfor the couple, they deserve happiness after what they have been through. This baby could never replace the son they lost, but rather add to getting some kind of peace in their lives. They will always miss and grieve for their son, Jett.

Now as for the idiot who said this is selfish to replace one child with another, you obviously didn't read the whole article Kelly's mom said that she had been wanting another baby before the death of Jett the urge just got stronger after so you are so very wrong for saying such a thing about anyone!!
How dare you say they are selfish. Wow...as if they didnt grieve the loss of their son. You do what you have to do to survive. I think it is wonderful and I give them many blessings!!
