Keira Knightley and her musician husband James Righton have welcomed their first child together, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly. The couple are the proud new parents of a baby girl.
Us confirmed in December 2014 that the Everest actress was expecting. She rarely spoke about the pregnancy, but did show off her growing baby bump in several haute couture gowns while promoting The Imitation Game during awards season. Back in February, she particularly turned heads in a floral Valentino dress at the 87th Annual Academy Awards.
That same month, Knightley, 30, joked about going into labor during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"My plan is to get it out," she said, laughing. "[I'll] drop it out, keep working. Pick [the baby] up, that's my plan. That would be wonderful for television, but not so good for me."
Knightley and Righton, 31, went public with their relationship in April 2011. They wed in May 2013 in a small France ceremony. E! News was first to break the news that Knightley had given birth.
