Kendra Wilkinson: My Post-Baby Body Was "Such a Culture Shock"

Even former Playboy bunnies get the blues.

Kendra Baskett admits in the new issue of Us Weekly that she struggled to accept her new body weeks after the Dec. 11 birth of Hank IV, her son with husband Hank Baskett.

Kendra's bump! See how her body transformed during her pregnancy

"I had my friends over, and it was bad timing," Kendra, 24, tells Us. "They were really hot and had really nice bodies," she says of her visitors, which included former Girls Next Door costar Holly Madison and Playboy model Tiffany Fallon.

"I was just hoping Hank didn't look at them! Having a different body was such a culture shock. I'm so used to being hot and fit." Although "it wasn't that extreme," the reality star says, "I did go through some depression."

The one-time centerfold adds that her body confidence remains shaky. "I love my legs, and I love my butt, but everything else I hate."

Everything including her breasts, she says, which "went from a 34C to an E."

Video: see Kendra reveal her stretch marks!

"Now that they're going down, they're a little bigger than I want," she says. "I want to even out my body a little."

I cant believe how rude and judgemental you people are!! She is being honest about her insecurities and you guys still find a way to talk her down! Im 25 and just had a baby too and I completly understand being worried about if you will ever get your body back. That doesnt mean that you dont love your baby and know that they are worth everything, its just part of being a woman who likes to feel like she can still have a sexy side too!! Keep your head up Kendra, you look great and your family is adorable!

Yea, why don't you all rag on her for being fat like you do about Jessica Simpson......... only difference is Kendra had a baby. You still hate her so what difference does it make????? I'm happy for her and if you were hot your whole life and didn't expect to look like you do after giving birth, I would be a little disappointed too. However, she will get over it. You people are mean. At least these famous people can admit their faults while you sit behind your monitors eating doritos and mcdonalds, ugly fat a$$es..........now leave her and her family alone..........

WOW....seriously??? What a (lol...profanity detected....sorry to hurt anyone's feelings...wtf!!!)!!! Boo-Hoo, honey....everyone gains weight when they have a baby. It would serve you right to become a HUGE lard-ass and never be able to lose the weight...then you might understand what NORMAL women go through! Wow, what a useless, spoiled, piece of garbage you are!!! And your hub is a useless piece of crap as well! The Indianapolis Colts ROCK and are a force to be reckoned with....they sure as hell don't need your (hah...wow...interesting what they think is 'profanity'...dou-a-che-bag husband to hold them down!!!!!

    Booooohoooooo

  • March 13, 2010 - 7:26pm Jennifer

A changed body due to the miracle of child birth is expected and has nothing to do with "culture." Using words without knowing their definitions is a ridiculous and ignorant trend.

  • March 13, 2010 - 4:35pm Rio

Typical comment from a woman with NO BRAIN!!!! What the hell did ya think was going to happen to your body when you push out 9 pounds of human!??

  • March 13, 2010 - 1:51pm Yele

She is quite disgusting in her mannerisms, I would be embarrassed to know/be around her. So,I think weight is the least of her worries. If her "special" looking husband gets hurt that check is over and I'm pretty sure he sucks at Fball from what I've seen. So this girl needs a hot bod to pay the bills...brains she doesn't have.

Culture shock- noun The distress of persons exposed to a new culture. How sad that US Magazine quoted this poor uneducated soul, she should take some of that money she has and go back to school, or simply pick up a book and read.

This woman is an idiot. Did she not think she would gain weight during her pregnancy? God help this little boy who is being raised by two morons.

  • March 13, 2010 - 12:42am Norine Mann

Why is this story an exclusive? I think US Mag likes making fools out of these dumb nobody cares about celebs.

  • March 12, 2010 - 11:06pm GideonsIma

I get what Kendra was trying to say by using "culture shock". I'm going to cut her some slack because the girl is a former Playboy bunny and not a brain surgeon! I am glad Kendra is being open and honest about her body after baby, especially since she spent the first part of her career nude on E! It takes 40 weeks to put the weight on so it shouldn't just melt off after delivery. I'm sure Kendra will soon go back to her active lifestyle.

Jeff, it's true you are an absolute idiot. Read some scientific literature and you will find out that post-partum depression absolutely does exist.

  • March 12, 2010 - 8:51pm Anonymous

If this is her version of "culture shock" she's in for a real shock, if she becomes ill with cancer or another serious disease. Not THAT is shock.

  • March 12, 2010 - 8:06pm BAJE1984

I really think some of you might learn the meaning of 'culture' because she did go through a kind of 'culture shock'. As she said she is accustomed to being a 'hot' girl that was her lifestyle, her CULTURE she has yet to get back in shape. When I was anew mother i felt the same way. She just needs to have confidence, be proud of herself for getting so far and get back into shape. Good Luck Kendra!!

  • March 12, 2010 - 4:14pm greeneggsandham98

Being a former Playboy bunny and a former girlfriend of Hef, having a not so perfect body would be a "Culture shock". Maybe not the true meaning, but it still fits.

  • March 12, 2010 - 4:10pm wtf

Has she never seen a pregnant woman?
