Mama's boys are growing up! Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler attended the 12th annual JDRF LA Imagine Gala on Saturday, May 9 in L.A.'s Century City nabe where the topic of conversation naturally gravitated toward their two young sons.

Dressed in a scarlet Tatyana Merenyuk gown, the former reality star, 28, reflected on how quickly the last year has gone by, after celebrating her youngest son Jaxon's first birthday earlier this week.

"It flies by so quickly," the proud mom said. "It kind of makes me sad. But they’re both at such fun ages now. They're able to start playing together a little bit now that Jax is 1. It's really nice. I feel like we’re in a really good place. They're both great kids. They’re just a lot of fun. So we're really lucky."

And though Camden, 2, is "a really good big brother," according to Cavallari, she did admit there is some sibling rivalry between her boys.

"He's very protective and very sweet, But he also gets a little upset when Jax tries to take his toys and messes with his stuff," Cavallari said. "He gets a little territorial with some stuff, so it's kind of funny."

The pair still hope to have three kids, but "right now our hands are full."
