No pressure, kids!
Mariah Carey says her twin babies are already showing musical aptitude at just six months.
"They're incredible," the Grammy-winning singer, 41, tells Barbara Walters on a 20/20 special airing Friday. "But I will say that they really respond to music." Son Moroccan and daughter Monroe — who make their first appearance on the show as well — were born April 30.
Proud papa Nick Cannon is a little more cautious about pushing the kids into showbiz.
"I want to make sure we get education first," the America's Got Talent host, 31, tells Walters.
"Society puts too much on entertainment and entertainers…They praise them like they're royalty, especially in America, where it should really be about the teachers or, you know, the doctors," he mused. "I want them to be able to sing as beautifully as their mother. I want them to be able to play instruments and everything. But I want them like ….'Go get a Ph.D'"
And "Roc and Roe," (the babies' nicknames) according to their dad are "little geniuses," he raved.
Joked Carey: "You can help them with their homework because I know I'm not going to know anything about it…No. I'll make sure I get the tutor that knows, though."
