Four is enough!

Matt Damon's wife Luciana Barroso is through with childbearing once she delivers her fourth daughter later this year.

"My wife is about to have our fourth kid and we've drawn a line in the sand," Damon, 40, tells Parade.com.

"This is it. Our lives are full and wonderful and we're done having kids," the Oscar winner says.

Married since 2005, the couple is already raising three daughters: Isabella, 4, and Gia, 2, plus Barrossa's daughter Alexis, 11, from a previous relationship.

"Lucy is in her third trimester for the fourth time and I think that's about enough to ask of any woman," Damon surmises. "I don't want to turn her into Ethel Kennedy."

(Now 82, political matriarch Ethel Kennedy famously bore 11 children.)

The star, who'll next appear in Clint Eastwood's supernatural thriller Hereafter, considers his parental duties his first priority. "If I had a bucket list, I'd say raising my four girls to be strong, good women would be number one," he says.

it is obvious...she is happy that she is a mother...and it not like she is not using her skills like a doctor or lawyer...she is lucky that she has Matt.and she has calmed him down...they are good for each other

OK, sounds good -- but what the heck is going on with that dress? Optical illusion but makes her look like she's in a carnival mirror.

Good for him! "raising my four girls to be strong, good women would be number one" is the best thing to hear from him. Taking the oldest girl as his own, and seeing that they should be strong and good before nice, pretty, popular, or rich...shows that he has his head on straight. He reminds me of Paul Newman, a class act.

Courtney - Yes, One is a step-child, HIS step-child. But his point was that his wife gave birth to all four of them. So yeah, if you were the one who was pregnant 4 times and gave birth 4 times, 4 kids IS a lot!

Good for them! Making the decision that is best for them and their whole family is what is most important. Besides I think more than 2 girls would drive most dads insane. Just wait till the 3 youngest are all teenagers at one time! Good Luck Matt and Luciana!!!!!

that isn't alot especially considering one is a stepchild. Paul Newman had 5 girls from two marriages granted his oldest was a boy and his second wife miscarried their first child so it's totally different and she was done having children before she was luciana's age
