Mom’s Hilarious Snapchat Rant About Waiting in Line at Kohl’s Goes Viral

There’s a good reason Amanda Bell’s Snapchat rant about standing in line at Kohl’s is going viral: It’s completely relatable — and hilarious. Watch it above!

The mom of Ava, 9, and Mason, 6, popped into the chain retailer to make a return on November 28, thinking she’d be in and out with plenty of time to pick her kids up from school. Unfortunately the woman ahead of Bell, who was also making a return, had other plans. “Once she realized that she was going to lose all her Kohl’s cash, she was not happy,” Bell tells Us Weekly.

Later that night, Bell, 33, reenacted the scene playing the part of her exasperated self, the customer, the cashier and the store manager with the help of Snapchat filters.

“I was at Kohl’s today standing in line trying to make a return and there was this lady in front of me talking to the sales lady, asking a million questions,” Bell (her character is a squeaky-voiced deer) began. “I kept looking at my watch like, ‘Do you not realize I have to go pick up my kids in, like, 15 minutes? Get out of the way!’”

The clip, which the Saline, Michigan, 33-year-old shared on her Facebook page November 30, has since been viewed more than 4 million times. Watch the Oscar-worthy performance in the video above!

“I’m in tears, snorting and wheezing I’m laughing so hard,” one person commented, while another wrote, “This video will make Amanda Bell famous!”

Bell began sharing videos nine months ago while she was going through a painful divorce. “I was sitting in my driveway in my mom van at about midnight. Everyone in my house was asleep. I sat there looking into the garage at my kids’ bikes and and toys just in tears. My family was falling apart,” the customer service representative for David’s Bridal tells Us.

The next day, Bell, who says she was “desperate for validation of my feelings,” posted her first video to Facebook. “It was a way for me to let things out and feel better,” she tells Us, “like a therapy session.”
