Neil Patrick Harris: I'm Not Expecting a Baby!

Neil Patrick Harris is not following in the footsteps of his How I Met Your Mother costars -- and first-time parents -- Alyson Hannigan and Cobie Smulders.

"We are not currently expecting a baby," the actor said in a statement to Usmagazine.com Thursday. Tabloid Star reported earlier that he and his longtime partner, David Burtka, are in search of a surrogate mother.

Still, the Tony Awards host isn't opposed to the idea. He told Us, "Maybe someday..."
