When accepting her best actress statue at the Critics Choice Awards in L.A. last month, Portman joked that director Darren Aronofsky was to blame for her weight fluctuations, as he was the one who introduced her to fiance Benjamin Millepied.

"You made me very skinny, and now you're indirectly responsible for getting me fat," she said. "And I am so incredibly grateful."

9And this is why Iam glad to not be vertically challenged! I love being 5foot 9!!! It must suck to be so short and pregnant! She is gonna get some gross stretch marks cause her torso is so short! LOL....so glad im not short, i had 2 kids al;ready and never got stretch marks and my stomach didnt get ruined, being tall rules when it comes to pregnancy! LOL
She is very petite and the shorter you are the less room the baby has, so petite framed women tend to look bigger faster. As well my guess is she was underweight prior to becomming pregnant so that is another reason more than average weight gain...to protect her baby and it is all normal and it will all come off in the end.....
She probably messed up her metabolism while trying to play the crazed anorexic ballerina. Mostly likely she will employ a team to get her back in shape after the birth. Natalie enjoy your pregnancy you will get back to what ever size/weight you were before!
I'd have to agree with Courtney. She looks she looks bigger than I would expect. Yes every woman's body is different, but she is definitely bigger than average. I am 4 months now and not even close to that big. Either way, I wish her well =)
um 26 weeks is six months not 24 each 3 months has 13 weeks not 12. and summer starts at the end of June and it's only the beginning of february so she'd be 5 months not six. actually a healthy singleton pregnancy lasts between 38-42 weeks 40 weeks isn't 10 months it's 9 1/2. and what I said before about twins is true.
Hmmm i think she looks as far as she says she is.. Every womans body is different. So some dont show at this stage at all and some do.. I think she looks amazing.. And this info comin from me being pregnant right now and being 23 weeks.. And my belly looks as big as hers..
Courtney, if she's due in June, which is summer, she would be approximately 24 weeks, or 6 months, currently. She has another 16 weeks, or 4 months, until her approximate due date. Pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks, or 10 months.
I bet she's having more than one
Natalie is lying about her due date your not supposed to be that big at 4 months at 6-7 maybe. unless there's a medical reason or she's having multiples which are as common in younger mothers particularly for a first pregnancy. hopefully her child is born healthy though I have a feeling she'll be one of those like Jessica Alba who complains about the weight she gained while she was pregnant for years on end. in a first or first successful pregnancy a woman can't help what her body gains to support the healthy development of her child
