Two weeks after the premature arrival of their firstborn, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt took their son, Jack, home from the hospital September 8.
Faris, 35, gave birth August 25 in L.A., the actress' rep confirmed to Us Weekly. The couple's "beautiful baby boy. . . arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU," her rep added.
Parks and Recreation star Pratt, 33, thanked his Twitter followers for all their "kind words."
"In lieu of gifts we ask that you mouth kiss a stranger," he joked.
Two days before they took their son home, Pratt assured his Twitter followers that "our kid doesn't have any fingers or toes growing out of his face. But thank you, sweet people, for your concern."
Faris and Pratt met on the 2007 set of Take Me Home Tonight. The actors became engaged in January 2009 and married six months later in a small ceremony in Bali.
In 2011, while promoting her rom-com What's Your Number?, Faris told Us she "would love to have eight kids" with her husband. "We want to populate the world!"
