Victoria Beckham in flats -- a sign of the apocalypse?

The 38-year-old designer, who famously wore six-inch heels while six months pregnant with daughter Harper, swapped her trademark sky-high stilettos for a pair of chic black flats while on a family outing to Universal Studios City Walk in Los Angeles on Nov. 4.

Sporting a simple two-tone shift dress and super-sized shades, the mom of four was noticeably shorter than usual in menswear-inspired wingtips with metallic buckles. See more photos of their outing.

In one pic, the star nearly seems to be shorter than 13-year-old Brooklyn, her eldest son with soccer star David Beckham. (In addition to Brooklyn and Harper, 16 months, the world-famous couple are parents to Romeo, 10, and Cruz, 7)

The Beckham brood took advantage of the perpetually sunny L.A. weather to browse the shops at City Walk, picking up snacks and drinks along the route. (Posh was even spotted carrying an electric blue Slushee!)

Big brothers Brooklyn and Romeo led the way, with each taking turns doting on baby Harper. Romeo, wearing a plaid shirt and sunglasses, pushed his adorable little sister in her pink-topped stroller, until Brooklyn swept in to carry the tot.

Family has always been Beckham's first priority, and though she certainly has her hands full with four kids and a successful fashion line, she hasn't ruled out the idea of another addition to the family.

"I'd like everybody to be healthy and happy," she said in the September issue of Glamour. "I'd like to be growing the business at a steady pace, and to be making more women feel empowered, beautiful, and confident. And I'd never say never about another baby. It's a juggling act -- a career, family, a husband who's busy. But I'd never say never!"
