Sarah Michelle Gellar Welcomes Baby Girl

Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. have welcomed their first child, a girl, a rep tells Usmagazine.com. Charlotte Grace Prinze was born Saturday.

The couple, who wed in 2002, announced they were expecting in April -- the same month she turned 32.

"I'm so happy for her; it's extraordinary," her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer costar Michelle Trachtenberg told Us around the time. "She's elated and feeling wonderful."

Added Trachtenberg, "She’s going to make a great mommy. They’re going to be extraordinary parents."

Gellar recently filmed the HBO pilot The Wonderful Maladays.

Congrats to them! They seem like such a down home couple who enjoys a private life. Finally a normal name for a child too, and a cute name too! I'm sure their daughter will be gorg, because SMG is beautiful and Freddie is so handsome. Congrats again.
