The Modern Family bombshell, now 39, had her handsome son Manolo when she was just 19 — and the Colombian actress tells Redbook mag that the teenaged pregnancy had its benefits. "When I had Manolo, I was 19, and I had the energy for everything," she says. Vergara married Manolo's dad, her childhood sweetheart Joe Gonzalez, when she was just 18. The couple divorced two years later.

But the Emmy-nominated star, who is currently dating Florida politician Nick Loeb, can't imagine getting pregnant again. "My boyfriend now wants to have kids, and I don't even want to think about it," she admits. "I would have to get into that mind-set again, the waking up early."
Fans might be shocked to learn that Vergara, famous for her curves, once considered her body "hideous."
"I've had these ridiculously huge boobs since I was super young," she reveals. "Like, 13. I was really skinny at that time, so it was weird to have those f--king boobs and be skinny. It was hideous."

But the rest of her body eventually caught up. "Then after I had my kid, I got hips and everything started to come together," she adds.

In my opinion, there is a huge difference between being 18/19 years old and 14/15 years old. Yes, at 19 you are technically still in your "teens", but you are an adult; usually finished with your basic education, and actually can work and find a decent job. Some of these teens are too young to even be able to find a job, leaving them with no choice but welfare and no one to help them take care of their child...In most cases, not all. I'm not judging, but I am saying, young teens DO need to make better choices-such as a condom, for that reason. People really need to stop glamorizing it and making it seem easy when it's not.

Love her! She was marry and she choose to have the baby, it was not an accident!
She was more than likely out of high school by age 19 and she was about ready to turn 20 when she had her son. Still though it was not that bad but MOST teen moms do NOT have the support of their baby daddy, their family and MOST still do NOT have their high school diploma. Yes it may be easier to have them when you are younger BUT then who IS providing for the baby(ies) since the teen mom probably can't financially?
