Tori Spelling's kids have something to get excited about: She's writing her first children's book!

The 36-year-old star, who is already a best-selling author with sTORI Telling and Mommywood, has signed on with publisher Simon & Schuster to pen the kids' book, which is called Presenting ... Tallulah.
The book -- a "sweet tale of a young girl who really just wants to be herself" and is tired of constantly being told what to do -- will go on sale on Sept. 21, the publisher announced Tuesday.

Spelling -- who is mom to Liam, 2, and Stella, 1, with hubby Dylan McDermott -- already counts them as fans.
"I love reading to my kids," she has said. "It's our special time together."

Her third adult release, tentatively titled uncharted terriTORI, is scheduled to hit bookshelves in June.

I will stop blogging about Tori when she stops putting every stupid minutia of detail about her life in the tabloids and she stops exploiting her kids. If you can comment on her, so can I. And you don't know me, and you said bad things about me because you did not like my comments...guess that makes you a hypocrite! Why do you defend Tori's behavior? She is a fake, dishonest, unintelligent, illiterate. What is there to like? You don't now her either Jenn!!! You only know what she wants you to see, and she is UGLY inside and out.

Tori's bugged eyed, horse face has nothing to do with my WONDERFUL childhood! TORI is the one with terrible childhood, remember? That is why she and her mom are always feuding in the tabloids! I totally agree w/ Taylor. While I never was a fan, I've seen her acting on TV and let me tell one thing -- she's not talented. She got her big break b/c of her dad. If it wasn't for him, I don't think she'd be famous. And have you noticed that it seems easier for celebs to get their books published? Any unknown person would be faced with a mountain of rejections before they get a yes.
Tori should never wear her hair back because it reveals her over-sized, oddly shaped, elongated head! She is SO HOMELY it is scary!! Why should this nit-wit get a book deal? She is illiterate for God's sake!!She is only famous for having a famous father period end of story!
I so agree with Julie...an author? Same with Kate Gosselin...do they really consider themselves authors? I am a writer and it has taken me years and years of writing to even be considered to be published. It took me 3 years just to write and edit my book...now I am trying to get it published. These so-called authors make it sick.
She is the UGLIEST woman on the planet! Tori as an author is a joke. She is so unintelligent...have you ever heard her speak? She sounds like a porn star? So Tori is now writing a book about her childhood... a rich spoiled brat who was told No every once in a while and now hates her mother because of it! Tallulah grows up to be a D-list actress, has an affair with a married man, destroys his family,but has some kids with him so she can exploit them on reality TV! What great moral lessons she will teach our young children!
