Viola Davis Gushes About Adopted Daughter Genesis

Viola Davis is having quite a year.

After earning raves for her performance in The Help, the Tony Award winner adopted daughter Genesis with husband Julius Tennon in October.

"She's wonderful," Davis told Us Weekly at the 15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards Gala in Beverly Hills Monday. "A complete and total blessing for us."

Adding to Davis' good fortune? She and The Help's Emma Stone, Bryce Dallas Howard, Octavia Spencer and Allison Janney won the Hollywood Ensemble Cast Award at the star-studded event.

Tennon, who has two children from previous relationships, wed Davis, 46, in June 2003. Genesis is the actress' first child.
