Exclusive: What Tia Mowry Named Her Baby Boy

And baby Cree makes three!

Overjoyed first-time parents Tia Mowry and husband Cory Hardrict said hello to their first child, an 8-pound boy, in L.A. on Tuesday. And the actors have named their son Cree Taylor Hardrict, they tell Us Weekly exclusively.

"I never knew how much love I could feel for someone," The Game star Mowry, 32, gushed to Us.

Mowry's first-time pregnancy will be documented on Tia and Tamera, a docu-series costarring her twin sister (and her costar in 90s sitcom Sister, Sister), which debuts in August on the STYLE Network.

My own MOM didn't care for what we named our first son (Griffith), but now she loves it. Sometimes a name has to grow on people. There are many worse choices they could have made, for sure!

Cree means warrior. I'm sure they decided on a name for their child, that they liked. As for getting made fun of, people get made fun of all the time! That's years from now, so OBVIOUSLY they don't care and probably didn't think of stuff like that!! Get over it, it's their son not yours.

My FIRST name is Cree and personally I love my name it isn't a typical name like most people have. I think it's a great name. This is crazy because my sisters name is Taylor!

You can't help what name you fall in love with for your child. I think Cree is different but not crazy over the top like some celeb baby names. Congrats!

I like Tia. I really do. But CREE? Doesn't she care that her kid will be made fun of because of that name? If she and her husband insist on "Cree" being part of their kid's name ... why not make it the middle name?
