Adam Levine Starts Twitter Feud with Fox News Anchors

Adam Levine is in "Misery."

The 32-year-old Maroon 5 singer asked Fox News to stop playing his band's music on their "evil f-cking channel" in a Wednesday Twitter post, prompting several of the network's anchors to fight back.

"Dear Adam Levine, don't make crappy f-cking music again," Fox News host Andy Levy, 45, wrote. "Thank you."

Redeye host Greg Gutfeld posted a series of tweets aimed at the outspoken Voice mentor, beginning with a juvenile joke: "Why did Maroon 5 cross the road?" he asked. "Because crappy music is legal there!"

Gutfeld, 47, then retweeted some of Levine's musings and added some sarcastic commentary. (Sample tweet: names that sound alike: Maroon 5 and crap. @adamlevine Names that sound alike: @kelseygrammer and @chelseahandler.)

Levine has never shied away from stirring up controversy on Twitter. In August, he blasted the MTV Video Music Awards, calling it the "one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music."

I watch Fox news AND I'm a fan of Maroon 5. If Fox news is evil I guess I must be too, so maybe I should stop playing Maroon 5's music as well!!! That should make Adam happy!

Gosh, there has to be at least one news channel that isn't so ridiculously liberal and will tell it like it is, especially about Obama. The other news channels have always treated Obama like they gave birth to him and must protect him no matter what. Since Fox is the number one cable news channel, either libs are truly watching Fox along with conservatives OR they just don't care to watch cable news at all. Wonder which one it is? Please don't say I am conservative either, I am a moderate. I think it is crazy to have either all conservative, or all liberal views.

I've watched that crappy Channel, so I can say it is crappy. They spread lies and are so biased against President Obama. Shep can be okay sometimes, but the rest suck eggs. They are a joke. The fact that people actually believe what they spew is frightening. I'm with Adam.

Definitely with Adam on this one. Fox "News" is a misnomer....they haven't been about news for quite some time. If I was a musician, I sure wouldn't want my music played on that network. And they sure looked pretty silly calling the music "crap: AFTER they played it!!! Funny!

Excuse us Adam for promoting your music and fame which gives you more fame and fortune... stuck up spoiled jerk...people would die to have their music be out in public for anyone and everyone to listen esp where there are hundreds to thousands of viewers...people try for years to get to where the band is at and now they feel like privileged snobs? Maroon 5 sucks anyways, on top of that Moves LIke Jagger is overplayed and Xtina is dead, stop trying to bring that has been back, she sucked before and after her baby. I hate that song, its overkilled and annoying.
