Mr. and Mrs. Smith get a sitter!
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt left their six kids at home on Tuesday, Feb. 4, when the engaged lovebirds were photographed holding hands during on a dinner date at the Shipwreck Bar & Grill in Airlie Beach, Australia. See more pictures from their date night!
On their first photographed couple’s night out in months, the drop-dead gorgeous pair was all smiles as they shook hands with fans on their way into the restaurant and waved to the cameras. A slender Jolie, 38, wore black skinny jeans, heels, and a black satin tank top. Pitt, 50, was still rocking his short, slicked back hairstyle, which he cut for a film role, and looked rather militaristic in combat boots, baggy pants, and a loose white shirt.
The Jolie-Pitts have been spending lots of necessary time apart lately thanks to work obligations: Pitt has been shooting his World War II film Fury in London and Jolie has been directing her own wartime drama, Unbroken, in Australia.
The 12 Years a Slave actor has made several trips Down Under to spend time with his large family, going yachting in Sydney Harbor in late December 2013 and taking all six children on several outings around the island country.
After more than seven years together, the couple got engaged in spring 2012, but doesn’t seem to be in a rush to head down the aisle anytime soon.
In addition to Fury, Pitt will also be a narrator alongside British actress Emma Thompson in 2014’s Voyage of Time, which is directed and written by Tree of Life director Terrence Malick. And Jolie’s highly-anticipated role as the titular villainess in Disney’s Maleficent hits theaters this spring.
