A Thanksgiving to remember! Austin Mahone performed his hit song “Banga Banga” at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on Thursday, Nov. 28.
The 17-year-old singer documented his experience participating in the parade with his fans on Instagram. “Getting ready for the parade!!” he captioned a shot of himself looking sleepy while brushing his teeth.
Once he arrived at the event, however, Mahone had a big smile on his face while posing in front of the Build-A-Bear Workshop float. “Ready to go!!! #buildabear,” he captioned the photo.
The teen heartthrob later updated his fans: “The crowds were insaneee!!! So much love out there . . . The city was ALIVE!”
Overall, Mahone seemed to have a great time performing on Thanksgiving, except for one small thing. The Texas native tweeted, “That was so much fun!!! My face is frozen tho . . .”
The “What About Love” singer, however, has a lot to be thankful for this year. Last month, he was hospitalized with a 104 temperature. Mahone was treated for a blood clot, extreme inflammation in his throat and severe dehydration.
