Avicii, real name Tim Berling, had been dating Canadian model Bettencourt, who runs the fashion and beauty website Raquel Natasha, for over a year and were living together in his Californian pad.

But according to sources, the brunette beauty has now moved out of the Swedish DJ’s lavish $15 million L.A. home, and the relationship is over.

Just three months ago, Bettencourt shared a montage of cute couple pics of her and her love via her Instagram account, in celebration of her DJ boyfriend’s 25th birthday.

“Happy Birthday My Love,” she captioned the montage. “Incredibly lucky to have such an amazing person in my life, who I can truly say is my best friend. Love Racqattack.”

But, having previously told Us he struggled to find the time to dedicate to his love life with his busy career, the duo have now called time on their relationship.

The blonde “Wake Me Up” music maker “went to Mexico” right after the breakup, a source revealed to Us. On Tuesday, Dec. 17 he shared a photo via Instagram of a stunning beach scene with the caption, “Enjoying my time off with my friends in Cancun!”

It’s been a rough few months for the EDM DJ, who was hospitalized back in March, requiring surgery for a blocked gallbladder and a burst appendix. His hospitalization and subsequent prolonged recovery resulted in him having to cancel a host of tour dates.

The surgery was a second health scare for the young musician, who was diagnosed with pancreatitis in 2013, resulting in him quitting alcohol. His relationship with Bettencourt was conducted “sober from day one,” he told Time magazine last year. In October of this year, he told Billboard that his now-former girlfriend was one of the “friends and family” he was thankful to for tending to him as he recovered from surgery.
