Things are still really “complicated” for Avril Lavigne regarding her battle with Lyme disease.
On Tuesday, Sept. 22, the “I’m With You” singer, 30, posted a new photo from a visit to her doctor’s office.
“This journey continues…just reach up, don’t give up until you’ve touch the sky,” the singer captioned the photo on Instagram.
In the pic, Lavigne sits on an examination table, smiling and wearing sunglasses. On the floor next to her is what appears to be a rolling suitcase.
This year has proven to be a tough one for the Canadian pop star. Earlier this year in April, Lavigne opened up about her struggles with Lyme disease. And in early September, Lavigne and her husband, Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger, announced the end of their two-year marriage.
“It is with heavy hearts that Chad and I announce our separation today,” Lavigne wrote on Instagram. “We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other.”
