Another unhappy ending!

In an interview that aired July 11 on ABC's The Bachelorette, a teary Emily Maynard drove the final nail in the coffin of her on-and-off engagement to Bachelor Brad Womack. "We're not engaged anymore...I'm ready to say it," she confessed.

The North Carolina beauty, 25, had scrapped plans for her and daughter Ricki, 6, to join Womack in Austin, explaining, "I just doubted, you know, he was still gonna want to be with me."

Her ex-fiance, 38, however, apparently can't accept that it's over.

A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (out now) that a heartbroken Womack has been lamenting that he blew it. A second insider adds that the bar owner has had a tough time letting go: "When they weren't together, Brad would drunk dial Emily and cry."

Now Womack's over-the-top ardor could take another beating should Maynard become the next Bachelorette (sources tell Us she's in talks). Says a friend bluntly, "It will kill him."

All this is about is money and good ratings on the TV. And some people (everyday) being trained in showing good lying and drama.

Brad--if you love Emily, then tell her. Do anything to be with her. You said on the show that she makes you want to be a better man. Well, be that "better man." You two obviously love each other. Make this happen!!!

I for one will not watch if Emily becomes the next Bachelorette. She has made such a push that she would not do it, that she still loved Brad, and that the basic reason for her not moving was doing what was best for Rikki. Is doing the Bachelorette again what is best for Rikki? No. It would just be very dissapointing after her feelings were known. Dont get me wrong, I love Em and feel that she is one classy lady. She deserves Happiness - but with the results that these shows have had - I would not count on it.

Amy Peters: No one seems to understand that Emily isn't interested in ANY man or love she never had intentions on marrying anybody, she is only interested in one thing......FAME!!!!

Why has every Bachelor insisted on the woman moving to them? Especially with the roots Emily has laid down for her 6 year old daughter. If Brad was serious, he would have had a one way ticket from Austin to Charlotte. He can open a bar anywhere.
