Keepin’ it real. Kim Kardashian went full-on sexy in her shoot for Love magazine’s annual Advent calendar a few months back, and her hairstylist, Cesar Ramirez, shared a few behind-the-scenes images (including one with North) to her app on Friday, December 16.
“The Love Advent shoot a few months ago was DOPE!” the hairstylist wrote in a guest blog post to the 36-year-old reality star’s site. “It was one of those shoots where we got the chance to try something new. Kim and I had been wanting to try super long hair for a while and we finally got the chance. I made her some clip-ins using Indique Pure Wavy hair in 32” and Ariel did some beautiful makeup that really played up her eyes.”
A video of the shoot, which was dropped on Monday, December 12, shows the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wearing pink lace lingerie and an oversized brown fur coat, at times writhing on the floor and other times standing tall while staring seductively at the camera.

“The set was a green screen, so we had to be creative and imagine the scenery that would be edited in later,” Ramirez continued. “We were shooting in an indoor studio, so I had to work the fans to create the illusion of wind blowing her hair as if she were really walking through the Northern Lights.”
“Kim was perfectly seductive in her movements, which helped make everything come together,” the hairstylist added. “I loved everything about this look for her. I think she really shows us a simple but sexy mysterious side here.”
In one of the behind-the-scenes images, the mother of two can be seen lying on her side on top of the brown fur coat with one arm coquettishly covering up her midsection. In another, Kardashian and several crew members look focused on a TV monitor that is presumably showing a playback of the images.
And in perhaps the most precious of the bunch, Kardashian balances her daughter, 3-year-old North, on her lap as the little girl plays with her mom’s fur coat.
On Thursday, December 15, CR Fashion Book editor Carine Roitfeld shared some behind-the-scenes photos from Kardashian’s CR issue 3 photo shoot back in 2013, including some memorable images of the reality star with jam smeared all over her mouth.
“Our first shoot with Kim Kardashian West was for the cover of CR 3 — an issue filled with rule-breakers and muses who inspired creativity and hope,” former Vogue Paris editor Roitfeld shared, along with a photo of Kardashian’s lips puckered up and covered in jelly. “To me, it was the start of a true friendship with Kim and her beautiful family. To the world, I think Kim became a true muse, and perhaps a true friend too.”
