Billy Corgan: I "Love" Jessica Simpson

Why didn't Billy Corgan ever come clean about romancing Jessica Simpson?
"If I go, 'Oh, we're just friends,' then it's like, 'Did they go out, did he dump her or she dump him, what happened?' It has nothing to do with any of that," he tells Rolling Stone. "Sometimes people just like being around each other, and good things come out of that."

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman, 42, says his goal in life is "to love whoever I think is worth loving, and I think if people knew her like I knew her, they would love her like I do. It's really simple."

Corgan and Simpson, 29, grew close when he helped her pen part of the theme song to her VH1 reality show, The Price of Beauty.
Simpson even shared photos of a recording studio collaboration with the rocker - via Twitter. "I am blessed," she wrote, adding that it was "fun to be lost in laughter."

53Anyone who listens to the haters on here are crazy cause they are insain. Jessica is harmless. You people are real idiots that are hating on her.
The strip club story was planted by Joe Simpson as damage control for his trampy daughter after she slept with both the guys from Dukes of Hazzard, Adam Levine, Bam Margera, and of course Joe himself. Not sure how John Mayer, Jude Law, Dane Cook, and the secret lovers fit into her tramp timeline, but they were before Tony Romo, Gerard "man wh@re" Butler, and this bald headed freak.
March 07, 2010 - 12:27pm an ugly fat man and a bald headed freak Says: tranny. ----------------------- YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY LOOKING AT YOUR OWN REFLECTION FREAK
RUKydnMe............UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM yea, Nick cheated in a strip club......... there are no saints in Hollwood and would you rather have a dad who doesn't give a rats a$$ about your life? Or maybe you already do which is why you're here spewing this bullcrap.
Seems to me she had a good man and marriage but she let her father control her and interfere. Did Nick ever beat, cheat, lie? If I recall, he was crazy about her. Having TV cameras around probably wasn't very good for the foundation of the marriage. Then she thought the grass was greener on the other side. Silly girl...always hooking up with big music stars. Nick was hot with 98 Degrees, Adam Levine with Maroon 5, John Mayer. She couldn't stand on her own. Play with fire you get burned and she did. It doesn't matter whether she's self-obsessed or not, she's a flake, even her dad has moved on, and she's getting back as good as she has given over the last several years. Perhaps a relationship with this guy will be just what she needs...guided by a "dad-like" figure.
Bluck-ola is she dating him?
It's probably easier for the Simpsons to wrongly blame the tabloids for Jessica's image problems rather than accept the fact that their daughter is an unlikeable moron and that always comes through no matter how desperately they try to spin it away.
I watched the Oprah interview and I didn't think she came across as self-absorbed at all. I also don't think she has ever done anything that was so horrible, or that others here probably haven't done, that it warranted all of the negativity here and in the media. However with that being said, people will always find a reason to hate or be cruel, even when it comes to someone they don't know.
I just find it funny that she is getting all of this press about Billy Corgan, John Mayer, Oprah...right before she has her new show premiere. I'm so tired of her!!!
Who cares what the people who really know her think of her. She's trying to sell an image to the public and she uses the media to do it. Just because the public doesn't always buy the image she's selling doesn't mean she's been unfairly treated by the media. It could just mean she's a bad salesperson and can't pull off the illusion daddy crafted for her to sell. I watched some clips of the Oprah interview. Oprah was pretty much there to give a stage to the Simpson talking points. She didn't take anything out of context. Even with Oprah helping her with her sales pitch, Jessica still came across as a self-obsessed idiot.
tranny.
Hey there Sally....sounds like you have way too much invested in Jessica Simpson's life and should perhaps look into developing one of your own. That is what's tragic....
she's doin it all for the fame- as soon as something doesn't work out she comes up with something else...so funny how ever since she was made fun of for gaining weight she always wears covered up black dresses and lost weight right away - if you really loved your body you would show that- she appears to be VERY insecure about herself. it was always about her looking good, she loved being daisy duke and shaking her @ss in front of the camera if she could do that again she would that gave her power- she was very full of herself . she'll prob. tell you that was the best time of her life-- but she can't loose the weight again so she plays the "i love my curves" bs - haha WHAT A LOSER
better get her tested for stds, no wonder she gets dumped
better get her tested for stds, yuck, no wonder she gets dumped.
Sunny day, it's spelled "morons," not "Morans!" As far as Billy "loving" Jessica - he "loves" her because he is promoting his song that will be a part of her upcoming show that has been previewed and crammed down our throats for months now. I can't wait for it to finally start and subsequently tank and go to DVD, so we can all look forward and see what Jessica's next venture will be. Yawn.
Someone's "public image" or what they say can quite easily be distorted with editing, just like the word "love" in this article. The people who print entertainment publications are in it for the money, even if the truth becomes altered along the way. Unless you know the person, you will never know the truth of what was said. What is said in an interview can be taken out of context, a silly joke can be written as a serious commentary on a topic, etc. TV is even more easily edited, so between those two mediums a "public image" is created, truth or not. So a "public image" still isn't a good foundation for judging those in the entertainment industry.
Jessica is a raging alcoholic and was bloated and hungover on Oprah. I guess I'd turn to the bottle too if I was that ugly, stupid and fat and could only get dates from publicity seeking gay men like Mayer who makes you watch while he gets with Perez. Tragic
Riiiiight, Jessica's boobs are real, and she never got lip injections except that one time, and she never shaved down her nose, and she got abused by a man just in time to push a crappy country record and also sell her third world, child-labor exploiting crappy footwear ("abused girls should walk away in a pair of Jessica Simpson boots"), and she loves her curves, just like she loves how fit she is on the cover of magazines every single time she loses weight (at least 4 times in the past 2 years?) and she used Mayer to get a People mag cover, but boohoo, its so horrible when he talks about her. Suuuuuuuree.
Ok Us Weekly, way to make a whole story out of ONE WORD in quotations. I love how you always put ONE WORD in quotations and the rest of the headline is your own fabrication. You really underestimate the intelligence of your audience. Seriously, how stupid do you think we are?? ONE WORD in the headline - "LOVE" - is in quotations. You could write anything around that word! Billy Corgan says he "loves" to have sex with dinosaurs! - and you could sell that! Please have more respect for your readers. Enough with the one-word-quotation headlines. Enough with dumbing down for an audience that is above that bull.
