Selena Gomez is all glammed up — and seemingly on her way to a special event — ahead of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s reported rehearsal dinner.
Gomez, 33, showed off her flawless makeup and hair while driving in a car on Thursday, July 2, which many fans think was en route to Madison Square Garden in New York City in celebration of her longtime BFF’s big day.
In the video shared via Gomez’s Instagram Story, the Only Murders in the Building actress can be seen wearing a black, strapless gown with what appears to be floral cutouts on the bodice.
Gomez had her mane pulled back into a bun, which put her teardrop diamond Flicker Short Earrings by Fernando Jorge on display. (The actress also donned a Flicker Ring by the designer set with 0.84 carats of pear cut diamonds.)
The former Disney Channel star had her airpods in as she pulled out a berry-colored lipstick from her Rare Beauty collection.
Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” played alongside the getting ready video, which concluded with Gomez showing off her lipstick for the camera.
Gomez — who married Benny Blanco in September 2025 — appeared to be riding solo to the event, after previously posting about spending time away from her husband while she was filming OMITB in London earlier this summer.
While Gomez didn’t reveal where she was headed, fans speculated that it’s to Swift, 36, and Kelce’s rehearsal dinner, reportedly taking place at MSG this evening.

Us Weekly confirmed earlier this week that Swift and Kelce, 36, have informed their guests to use MSG as a meeting place and to be in town on Thursday and Friday, July 3, when they will reportedly tie the knot.
A source told Us that the couple are having a “whimsical” theme for their big day, which would fit with Swift’s overall magical and fairytale aesthetic that she has sung about for decades.
A separate insider told Us last month that the “save the date was sent electronically, and guests had to agree to an NDA before they could see any details.”
While speculation about the wedding of the summer continues to grow, a third source told Us guests have been kept in the dark about the specifics for the weekend.
“Taylor and Travis told guests to be in NYC. No other location was provided,” the insider shared on Wednesday, July 1. “They are spending a lot of money — in the millions.”
Gomez, for her part, has been part of Swift’s life and present for some of her biggest moments since they became friends in 2008.
Swift has also been there for Gomez’s milestones, including her 2025 nuptials. A source exclusively told Us at the time that Swift gave a “heartfelt” speech at the couple’s fall wedding.
“She went into depth and talked about how over the years she saw Selena on the floor crying, mentioning exes, Selena having a broken heart and saying how happy she is that Selena has Benny now,” the insider revealed. “Taylor said it is a best friend’s dream for her best friend to find someone like Benny and is so happy for her.”
