Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s forthcoming wedding will span multiple days in New York City.
“Taylor and Travis told guests to be in NYC. No other location was provided,” a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly, adding that invitees were told to arrive in Manhattan to celebrate the couple on Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3. “They are spending a lot of money — in the millions.”
A second insider, meanwhile, revealed that the wedding will take place at the city’s famed Madison Square Garden arena.
Swift and Kelce, both 36, got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating, but they have not publicly shared any details about their wedding plans.
“4th of July weekend is right around the corner,” Kelce later began an Expedia ad break on the Wednesday, July 1, episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “We all have that one 4th of July trip we still talk about. … The one that turned a long weekend into a core memory.”
While acknowledging that celebrating Independence Day can be “hectic,” Kelce noted that celebrations can produce “great memories.”

Save the Dates
A source told Us last month that all guests received save the date invitations electronically.
“Guests had to agree to an NDA before they could see any details,” the insider revealed.
A separate source, meanwhile, noted that invites printed guests’ names “so those who were on the guest list wouldn’t make the invites public.”

What Days Are the Wedding Taking Place?
Us confirmed that the celebration will take place on Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3.
A Page Six report claimed that Swift and Kelce will host an intimate rehearsal dinner on Thursday at MSG’s Infosys Theater. The next day, the ceremony will allegedly take place at 5:30 p.m. in the main arena after a cocktail hour. The outlet reported that the reception is expected to last until 2:00 a.m.
CBS News also alleged that the arena was booked until 4 a.m. for the sure-to-be star-studded reception.
Friday’s event will also include a “cocktail party” in the afternoon, according to a separate CNN report.
How Many Guests Will Attend?
Page Six and ABC News both report that 100 individuals will be present for the rehearsal dinner, while more than 1,000 friends and loved ones will attend the ceremony and reception the next day.
The Streets Surrounding Madison Square Garden Will Be Shut Down
Us confirmed that a permit was obtained to block off the surrounding streets throughout the weekend. ABC News also reported that tents and canopies will also be set up outside to shield invitees from the eyes of eager fans.
The Wedding Menu
As workers began making deliveries to MSG ahead of the ceremony, one shipment included boxes of food. In photos obtained by Page Six, the boxes listed contents as lobster, blackened chicken, packaged chicken, boneless skinless chicken breast, chicken legs, French fries, thick-cut onion rings, red and orange peppers, romaine lettuce, eggs, heavy whipping cream and whole milk. A Krispy Kreme donut truck was also spotted arriving at the venue on Wednesday, July 1.
No-Phone Policy
According to ABC News, both wedding events will have a strict no-phone policy for guests, vendors and security personnel to keep the festivities under wraps.
